When we designed the mark for SJ Townsend Business Advisors we made a deliberate decision — every element would mean something. Not because anyone would notice immediately. But because the practice it represents was built the same way. Nothing arbitrary. Nothing accidental. Every decision made, with a reason behind it. Here’s what’s in it and why.

The foundation of the mark is a gear divided into four quadrants. A gear represents interdependence and teamwork — gears mesh together, symbolizing collaboration and mutual support. An advisor is only as good as the collaboration with the client, then they can truly give advice useful to the situation the client finds themselves in.
